The Dwayne Street Hotel, in the heart of Tribeca New York, was a new boutique brand on behalf of Hersha Hotels. The Agency arranged for ongoing selected top-targeted media visits which resulted in nationwide coverage. In addition, we developed a series of ongoing media feature news stories on everything from the fine dining in the restaurant to the unique history of the Tribeca area and the role that the hotel plays in the community.
We’ve taken media on familiarization trips to participate in the four-season experiences offered at both Copper Mountain Resort in Colorado and Camelback Resort in the Pennsylvania Poconos Mountains. They’ve experienced horseback riding and white river rafting as well as winter skiing, all of which resulted in nationwide media attention and boosted attendance. For St. Patrick’s Day we arranged to have one of the slopes tinged green and the members of the Over the Hill ski team shouted into the camera, Good Morning America, to viewers nationwide.
We’ve also taken media on a Cruise to Nowhere on Holland America’s MS Nieuw Amsterdam. More than 40 media outlets were feted, fed and hosted on an overnight cruise into New York harbor which resulted in media interviews, news and feature coverage.
For the opening of the Marriott Marquis on Broadway we had an on-site performance of the cast of a Broadway musical. Each media visit resulted in coverage in media nationwide.
